2008 抗震盃活動受颱風影響說明

根據中央氣象局颱風警報預測，今年度第15號強烈颱風薔蜜的暴風圈可能於週日(9/28)影響台灣地區，原預計於週日舉行之2008抗震盃第二天活動，將依原定時間繼續進行。為保障參與活動人員之安全，本中心將採取以下相關措施：

1. 如參賽隊伍因安全顧慮決定不出席活動，本中心裁判將代為安裝試體完成比賽，如成績獲得獎項，將透過郵寄方式遞送相關獎金或獎盃。
2. 如參賽隊伍出席活動，本中心將於活動結束後安排台北市之住宿與接送，直到安全無虞為止，相關費用由本中心負擔。

Though the Central Weather Bureau weather report has determined that the typhoon NO. 15 this year will effect Taiwan area, the second day schedule of IDEERS 2008 is according to the original plane. However, in the aspect of safe concern, following supporting plans will be done:

1. If a team is not present in the competition due to the safety reason, referees will set up the model for it. If the team gets award, we will also send the related awarding by mail.
2. It a team decides to take participant in the competition, we will then arrange the accommodations as well as transportation for free.
