The level of peak ground acceleration (PGA) is denoted in the file name, and so is the type of motion recorded (Accel stands for acceleration, Displ for displacement).
The first column in the file indicates the time label (in second) with a time interval of 1/256 second; the second and third columns are the recorded motion along the N-S and the E-W directions, respectively. These two directions are graphically indicated in Figure 13 in the competition rules document. In the files, accelerations are measured in g, and displacements in mm.
