About / 活動簡介
為鼓勵青年學生藉由參與科學競賽而激發創造力，國家地震工程研究中心乃舉辦抗震盃-地震工程模型國際競賽。競賽除了來自全台灣的各路英雄好漢外，更邀請了不同國家之國際隊伍共襄盛舉，以增進青年學子間之國際科學交流。
In order to promote earthquake engineering and seismic protection education and encourage students to participate in a creative scientific competition, a program entitled "Introducing and Demonstrating Earthquake Engineering Research in Schools (IDEERS)" will be held at the Taiwan National Center for Research on Earthquake Engineering (NCREE) in Date. This program is jointly organized by NCREE, the National Applied Research Laboratories (NARL), the National Center for Research on Earthquake Engineering (NCREE), the National Science and Technology Center for Disaster Reduction (NCDR), and the Asia-Pacific Network of Centers for Earthquake Engineering Research (ANCER). Student teams from Taiwan and all around the world are welcome to take part in this activity.

Awards
For both high school and undergraduate divisions:
Efficiency Ratio Award (3 teams)
- Teams which models get the highest efficiency ratios
- Award: 20,000 / 15,000 / 10,000 TWD for 1st / 2nd / 3rd team and a certificate for each team member
Efficiency Ratio Certificate of Excellent (Ranks 4-10)
- Teams which models get the highest efficiency ratios (from ranks 4 to 10)
- Award: 2000 TWD for each team and a certificate for each team member
Quake-Resistant Certificate (any number of teams)
- Teams which models resists earthquake of 400 gal
- Award: A certificate for each team member
Best Structural (Engineering) Design (3 teams)
- Teams which models are selected with best structural engineering design
- Award: 5000 TWD for each team and a certificate for each team member
Best Architectural (Artistic) Design (3 teams)
- Teams which models are selected with best architectural (artistic) design
- Award: 5000 TWD for each team and a certificate for each team member
Best Design Idea of Exhibits Award (3 teams)
- Teams which make best exhibits to display their design ideas clearly in creative ways
- Award: 3000 TWD for each team and a certificate for each team member
Most Preferable Award (1 team)
- The team collects the most votes of prediction for efficiency ratio winner.
- Award: 3000 TWD for the team and a certificate for each team member
Correct Prediction Prize (3 persons)
- The lucky person drew from the pool with correctly prediction of the winner.
- Award:1000 TWD per person.
Creative Show Person Reward (up to 6 persons)
- People who gain the most applause when showing the earthquake scale board.
- Award: NCREE souvenirs.

為了鼓勵參賽者設計製作優秀的抗震模型，主辦單位提供了豐富的獎勵；
現場觀戰加油的啦啦隊們，只要預測準確，也有機會得到獎品！
高中職組及大專組各組獎項如下：
- 首獎：效率比第一名之隊伍，頒發新台幣20,000元、獎盃一座及每位隊員個人獎狀。
- 貳獎：效率比第二名之隊伍，頒發新台幣15,000元、獎盃一座及每位隊員個人獎狀。
- 參獎：效率比第三名之隊伍，頒發新台幣10,000元、獎盃一座及每位隊員個人獎狀。
- 效率比佳作：效率比第四至十名之隊伍，每隊頒發新台幣2,000元及每位隊員個人獎狀。
- 耐震獎：模型通過400gal 地震力(相當於中央氣象局公佈的七級地震強度)之隊伍，每位隊員頒發個人獎狀。
- 結構設計獎：經由裁判團評選，其模型之結構設計、抗震構想與創意理念最佳的隊伍，最多取三隊，每隊頒發新台幣5,000元及每位隊員個人獎狀。
- 建築美觀獎：經由裁判團評選，其模型之建築外觀造型、基地與空間使用效能理念最佳的隊伍，最多取三隊，每隊頒發新台幣5,000元及每位隊員個人獎狀。
- 設計理念展示獎：經由裁判團評選，以創意的展示手法，最能清楚介紹該隊模型設計理念的隊伍，最多取三隊，每隊頒發新台幣3,000元及每位隊員個人獎狀。
- 最具冠軍相獎：經由參與活動的隊員與裁判在振動台測試前投票所評選出之最具冠軍相的隊伍，取一隊頒發新台幣3,000元及每位隊員個人獎狀。
- 慧眼獎：現場猜中首獎模型者，由主辦單位於抽出三位，每位頒發1,000元獎金。
- 舉牌創意紀念品：每次振動台測試前，自願擔任舉牌的現場觀眾。
Awards
Efficiency Ratio Award (3 teams)
- Teams which models get the highest efficiency ratios
- Award: 40,000 / 20,000 / 15,000 TWD for 1st / 2nd / 3rd team and a certificate for each team member.
Innovation Award for Seismic Isolation and Energy Dissipation (sponsored by Sinotech Engineering Consultants, Inc. ) (1 team, possibly without a winning team by the referee panel's decision)
- Three to six postgraduate teams will be nominated by the IDEERS referee panel to monitor their model performance by sensor instrumentation in the shaking table tests.
- The team that builds a model to demonstrate the best performance for their seismic isolation and/or energy dissipation design will be awarded a prize of 100,000 NT dollars, and a certificate for each team member.
Best Structural (Engineering) Design (3 teams)
- Teams which models are selected with best structural engineering design
- Award: 5000 TWD for each team and a certificate for each team member.
Best Architectural (Artistic) Design (3 teams)
- Teams which models are selected with best architectural (artistic) design
- Award: 5000 TWD for each team and a certificate for each team member.

- Teams with superior presentation in IDEERS conference.
